Number of consultations held with relevant stakeholders including affected communities during project planning and implementation
Definition and Methodology
Human-rights based approach: Meaningful and inclusive participation
This indicator measures the total number of structured consultation sessions conducted with key stakeholders—such as community members, CSOs, local authorities, and other interest groups—during the planning, or implementation and monitoring and evaluation phases of a project. The indicator reflects the extent to which participatory approaches are used to ensure that diverse perspectives, particularly those of affected populations, inform decision-making and promote ownership.
This indicator can be customised, for instance through specifying the affected communities. E.g.: Number of consultations held with socially excluded or marginalised communities during project planning and implementation.
