Number of people who have received ID documents
Definition and Methodology
This indicator measures the number of individuals who have obtained official identification documents (such as birth certificates, personal ID cards, or other civil registration documents) with Grants support. These documents are essential for accessing rights and public services, including healthcare, education, housing, employment, and social protection.
In the context of Roma inclusion, this indicator reflects progress in addressing barriers related to legal identity and civil registration, which disproportionately affect Roma communities and other socially-excluded groups and contribute to their marginalization.
Only individuals who have successfully received valid documentation as a direct result of programme-supported services (e.g., legal aid, mediation, administrative assistance) are counted.
If your programme targets women, consider making this indicator gender-specific. If not, this indicator should be disaggregated by self-reported gender (in non-binary terms): female / male / other / prefer not to say. Please see the Guidance on the use of the core indicators library.
