ROM-008

Number of self-identified Roma individuals who have completed a training course

Low Cumulative number Customizable

Definition and Methodology

This indicator captures the total number of self-identified Roma individuals who have completed a training course supported by the Grants. Training may focus on vocational skills or job-readiness (contributing to poverty reduction) or on life skills, leadership, civic engagement, or similar areas (contributing to empowerment). This includes vocational education and training (VET) course. A VET course is a programme designed to equip individuals with practical skills, knowledge, and qualifications needed for specific trades, occupations, or industries. It focuses on hands-on training and workplace experience, often leading to certifications or diplomas that support career readiness and employment opportunities.

Individuals are considered to have "completed" a training course if they have attended and finished all required sessions and met any stipulated requirements (e.g., attendance rate, passing assessments, or receiving a completion certificate). Only courses that are fully completed, not partially attended, count toward this indicator.

The unit of measurement is cumulative number. Avoid double counting: the same individual having completed several courses should not be counted twice.

If your programme targets women, consider making this indicator gender-specific. If not, this indicator should be disaggregated by self-reported gender (in non-binary terms): female / male / other / prefer not to say. Please see the Guidance on the use of the core indicators library.
