This indicator tracks the total number of newly formed partnerships (regardless of geographical scope) between Grants-supported entities and non-Grants-supported organisations in industry, academia, or government. It specifically measures the creation of new partnerships with Grants support, without focusing on ongoing collaborations.

To avoid duplication between indicators RES-008 and RES-009, track “international partners” separately for active global collaborations under RES-008. RES-009 should include all newly established partnerships, whether local, national, or international.
