This indicator counts the total number of documented cases where Grants-supported research informs, shapes, or is cited in the development, revision, or implementation of policies, laws, regulations, or official guidelines—at local or national levels.

METHODOLOGY:

a. Collect evidence such as: citations in policy documents, white papers, or guidelines; meeting minutes, advisory group records, or consultation reports; and official letters or statements acknowledging research influence.

b. Maintain a log or database of each instance, including date, title of policy/guideline, and nature of the research contribution.
