Number of people directly benefiting from supported housing services
Definition and Methodology
This indicator measures the total number of individuals who have directly received support through housing services funded by the Grants. These may include services such as housing counselling, mediation, assistance in accessing social or affordable housing, temporary accommodation, or help with improving housing conditions. A "direct beneficiary" is a person who has personally used or received a service, not just lived in a household where someone else did. Where services benefit entire households (e.g., housing placement or infrastructure improvements), all household members may be counted as direct beneficiaries.
If your programme targets women, consider making this indicator gender-specific. If not, this indicator should be disaggregated by self-reported gender (in non-binary terms): female / male / other / prefer not to say. Please see the Guidance on the use of the core indicators library.
If your programmes targets individuals from marginalised backgrounds, consider customising this indicator as follows: Number of people from deprived or segregated neighbourhoods or settlements directly benefiting from supported housing services. Deprived or segregated neighbourhoods or settlements are geographically concentrated areas—often at the margins of towns, cities, or in rural regions—where residents, frequently Roma or other marginalised groups, face limited access to public services, poor infrastructure, and social and economic exclusion. These areas may be identified using tools such as the Atlas of Roma Communities in Slovakia or similar national mapping systems.
