Youth employability rate in the supported areas

Medium Percentage Customizable

Definition and Methodology

The percentage of youth (aged 18-35) who successfully transition into stable employment or further education/training after participating in Grants supported programmes aimed at enhancing employability skills.

The numerator corresponds to the number of youth participants who secure stable employment (full-time or part-time) or enroll in further education/training within 6 months after completing the programme. The denominator corresponds to the total number of youth participants who completed the Grants-funded employability programme.

Formula: Youth employability rate = (Number of youth participants who secure stable employment or enroll in further education/training / Total number of youth participants who completed the Grants-funded employability programme)× 100

This indicator should be tracked annually.

If your programme targets women, consider making this indicator gender-specific. If not, this indicator should be disaggregated by self-reported gender (in non-binary terms): female / male / other / prefer not to say. Please see the Guidance on the use of the core indicators library.

If your programmes targets youth from marginalised backgrounds, consider customising this indicator as follows: Youth employability rate in the supported deprived or segregated neighbourhoods or settlements. Deprived or segregated neighbourhoods or settlements are geographically concentrated areas—often at the margins of towns, cities, or in rural regions—where residents, frequently Roma or other marginalised groups, face limited access to public services, poor infrastructure, and social and economic exclusion. These areas may be identified using tools such as the Atlas of Roma Communities in Slovakia or similar national mapping systems.
