Number of people directly benefiting from supported educational services
Definition and Methodology
Total number of individuals who directly received educational benefits from services supported by the Grants, reflecting their impact on learning opportunities and skill development. Education services can include (non-exhaustive list) new online learning platforms; STEM outreach programmes (new initiatives to promote science, technology, engineering, and math education for underrepresented groups); vocational training offering hands-on training in trades, digital skills, or entrepreneurship; EdTech tools & apps (creation of AI-driven tutoring apps, interactive learning games, or virtual reality learning experiences); and inclusive education programmes (services designed to support students with disabilities or learning difficulties).
If your programme targets women or Roma, consider making this indicator gender- or Roma-specific. If not, this indicator should be disaggregated by self-reported gender (in non-binary terms): female / male / other / prefer not to say and/or self-reported ethnicity: Roma, non-Roma, and prefer not to say. It can also be disaggregated by age, using these categories: young ≤ 29 years old / adult ≥ 30 years old / prefer not to say. Please see the Guidance on the use of the core indicators library.
If your programmes targets individuals from marginalised backgrounds, consider customising this indicator as follows: Number of people from deprived or segregated neighbourhoods or settlements directly benefiting from supported educational services. Deprived or segregated neighbourhoods or settlements are geographically concentrated areas—often at the margins of towns, cities, or in rural regions—where residents, frequently Roma or other marginalised groups, face limited access to public services, poor infrastructure, and social and economic exclusion. These areas may be identified using tools such as the Atlas of Roma Communities in Slovakia or similar national mapping systems.
