Definition and Methodology

Total number of newly created or significantly enhanced educational services supported through the Grants, reflecting their impact on improving learning opportunities.

New educational services refer to completely new programmes, platforms, or initiatives that were not previously available. This can include (non-exhaustive list) new online learning platforms; STEM outreach programmes (new initiatives to promote science, technology, engineering, and math education for underrepresented groups); vocational training offering hands-on training in trades, digital skills, or entrepreneurship; EdTech tools & apps (creation of AI-driven tutoring apps, interactive learning games, or virtual reality learning experiences); and inclusive education programmes (new services designed to support students with disabilities or learning difficulties).

Improved educational services refer to existing services that have been significantly enhanced in terms of quality, accessibility, technology, or content. This can include (non-exhaustive list): upgraded curriculum and teaching methods; enhancements in digital infrastructure, language accessibility, or remote learning capabilities; enhanced programmes for educator upskilling, including digital literacy and modern pedagogy; library and resource digitalization; and enhanced career readiness programmes.

Supported means having received financial aid, technical assistance, capacity building, or other resources from the Grants.
