Definition and Methodology

Total number of new or enhanced digital-related policies, strategies, or guidelines that are developed and formally approved with Grants' support. These may pertain to the design, implementation, or regulation of digital technologies and services, aiming to foster innovation, improve governance, ensure digital inclusion, or strengthen cybersecurity, among other objectives.

New means original policies, strategies, or guidelines introduced to address emerging digital needs or gaps.

Improved means existing policies, strategies, or guidelines that have been revised, updated, or expanded to incorporate better practices, adapt to new challenges, or enhance their effectiveness.

The content must specifically address digital technologies, systems, or practices. This includes, but is not limited to:

a. Digital transformation

b. E-governance

c. Data privacy and protection

d. Cybersecurity

e. Digital infrastructure.

f. Artificial Intelligence (AI)

g. Emerging technologies like blockchain

h. Digital literacy and inclusion

To count towards this indicator, the policy, strategy, or guideline must be completed and adopted by the relevant authority in the supported entity.
