A cultural event can be defined as a gathering or activity that highlights, celebrates, or explores aspects of human culture, including arts, traditions, heritage, and social practices. Different types of arts or cultural events include (non-exhaustive list);

a. Performing arts events like concerts, theater performances, dance recitals, opera, circus arts.

b. Visual arts events like art exhibitions, sculpture shows, public art installations, digital art showcases.

c. Literary events such as book fairs, poetry readings, author talks, storytelling sessions.

d. Film and media events such as film festivals, screenings, multimedia art festivals.

e. Heritage and traditional events such as folk festivals, cultural heritage celebrations, historical reenactments.

f. Craft and design events like artisan fairs, craft markets, design biennales.

g. Interdisciplinary and experimental events like hybrid art-tech events, immersive experiences, cross-genre festivals.

h. Educational and community arts events like artist residencies, public lectures, cultural forums.
