This indicator measures the total number of organisations that hold formal membership in the membership-based organisations that receive Grants support.

Membership-based organisations can include, for instance, associations, federations and networks (e.g., umbrella organisations of CSOs), and community-based organizations (CBOs). To count towards this indicator, membership must be formalised.

The unit of measurement of this indicator is annual, as the number of member organisations can fluctuate every year. This indicator requires a baseline value.
