Definition and Methodology
Total number of supported businesses that have enhanced their resource efficiency by reducing the amount of raw materials used per unit of output. "Improved resource efficiency" is achieved by optimizing processes, reducing waste, or adopting sustainable practices.
To count towards this indicator, businesses should show a measurable reduction in material input required to produce the same or greater output.
