Definition and Methodology
Total number of entities (e.g, businesses and public institutions) that, with Grants' support, have successfully improved their energy efficiency through measurable actions that reduce energy consumption while maintaining or enhancing productivity.
Energy efficiency improvements include but is not limited to:
a. Upgrading equipment and machinery (e.g., high-efficiency motors, LED lighting, energy-efficient HVAC systems)
b. Optimizing industrial processes (e.g., waste heat recovery, automation, energy management systems)
c. Implementing renewable energy solutions (e.g., on-site solar, cogeneration, battery storage)
d. Enhancing building performance (e.g., insulation, smart energy monitoring, retrofits)
e. Behavioral and operational changes (e.g., staff training, energy audits, improved scheduling)
