BIL-013

Level of overall satisfaction with the partnership

Low Scale 1-5

Definition and Methodology

This indicator will be tracked through the bilateral survey to be administered by the FMO to Project Promoters and donor project partners at the end of each project (ex-post). The unit of measurement for most bilateral outcome indicators in the survey will be the scale 1-5, where 1 is low and 5 is high. Baselines are not applicable (N/A) for bilateral indicators because partners typically do not have sufficient experience of each other at the outset of a project. All programmes will have the same bilateral indicator target of 4 out of 5.

The survey question to establish the value of this indicator will be: "Overall, how satisfied were you with the project partnership?".

Satisfaction with a partnership refers to the degree to which organisations involved in a partnership feel positive, content, or fulfilled with the relationship and its results.

This indicator is a summative indicator which captures the general perception of how well the partnership worked, taking into account the different dimensions of the partnership such as relevance, effectiveness, and added value. While the other indicators measure specific dimensions, overall satisfaction will give a general sense of how partners feel about the collaboration as a whole. It helps understand whether the partnership, in the end, met expectations and contributed positively to the project.
