Definition and Methodology
Total number of formal assessment, research studies, or spatial/sectoral mappings that have been finalised with Grants' support. Assessments refer to evaluations of needs, risks, impacts, or performance (e.g., vulnerability assessments). Studies refer to in-depth research or analysis on specific topics (e.g., market studies). Mappings refer to data-driven visual representations of geographic, operational, or systemic elements (e.g., infrastructure maps, service coverage maps).
"Completed" means that the assessment process has been fully carried out, including data collection, analysis, and reporting of findings.
The indicator can be customised by sector/topic. Examples:
a. Healthcare 🏥: Evaluation of healthcare facility readiness for disease outbreaks, research on the impact of telemedicine in rural communities, etc.
b. Justice & correctional services ⚖️: Review of prison overcrowding and rehabilitation programmes, mapping of crime hotspots for strategic policing, assessment of quality of life in prison and prison staff quality of life, etc.
c. Security & Defense 🛡️: Cybersecurity vulnerability assessment for government networks, research on emerging threats in border security, etc.
d. Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Response 🌍⚠️: Study on the effectiveness of early warning systems, flood risk mapping for urban and rural areas, etc.
e. Green Energy & Environment 🌿⚡: Analysis of the impact of deforestation on local ecosystems, mapping of carbon emissions by industrial sector, etc.
f. Cultural: Number of cultural heritage management plans developed incorporating digital transition or climate change mitigation measures
