Definition and Methodology
Total number of newly created or updated guidelines or standard operating procedures developed with Grants' support. These documents establish best practices, technical specifications, or operational procedures to improve consistency, quality, efficiency, and compliance in a specific sector or field (including with EU standards). This indicator tracks both newly created documents and improved Guidelines/SOPs (updates or revisions to existing documents to improve clarity, efficiency, or compliance.
The indicator can be customised by sector/topic. Examples:
a. Healthcare 🏥: Infection control procedures for pandemic response, hospital triage protocols to enhance emergency response efficiency, standardized telemedicine consultation guidelines, etc.
b. Justice & correctional services ⚖️: Guidelines on handling digital evidence in cybercrime investigations, court case management procedures for digital case filing, SOPs for police engagement in cases involving children, guidelines or SOPs on dynamic security, etc.
c. Security & Defense 🛡️: Protocols for using AI-driven surveillance tools, cybersecurity incident response guidelines for government agencies, etc.
d. Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Response 🌍⚠️: Guidelines for rapid evacuation in flood-prone areas, emergency coordination SOPs for multi-agency disaster response, etc.
e. Green Energy & Environment 🌿⚡: Guidelines for integrating renewable energy into national power grids, waste management SOPs to enhance recycling efficiency, etc.
Draft documents do NOT count towards this indicator. To count towards this indicator, the guidelines/SOPs need to be adopted at least internally, by the supported entity.
